After some thought, we have decided to bring this blog to an end.
We began this blog as a light-hearted attempt to give the blog’s satirized subject a reflection of his own crudeness and cruelty. We were concerned that the treatment of women that he advocates is doing harm to him, his followers, and the women they encounter. Although we still have this concern, we are now worried that our satire may have struck too close to home.
The blog’s subject is going through a difficult time. We hope that he will find his way through it. To do so, he will have to reflect on his own behavior and realize its effect on other people. We did this ourselves, when we decided that this blog was too cruel.
We hope that one day he will find a kinder voice within him and use his talents to help others rather than to prey upon their insecurities.
A final note to the blog’s subject: dividing human males into Alphas and Betas has as much scientific merit as phlogiston and Intelligent Design. A division you might be better served in contemplating is that between good and bad men, between treating others decently and degrading them. What sort of man do you want to be?
